TATTOO INQUIRY FORM

Before submitting a tattoo request using the inquiry form below, please take the time to read the below Q&A.

Jeremy and his studio manager, Casey, work together on all tattoo inquiries.

Please note that there may be a delayed response, particularly during times with a high volume of inquiries when Jeremy announces that his books are open.

HOW DO YOU CHARGE?

We are unable to give exact quotes on large projects. A break down in pricing will be included in a response to your initial tattoo inquiry.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

For 10 months of the year, I practice tattooing at my studio, Elysian Tattoo Co, located in Fremantle, Western Australia. During the remaining 2 months, I’ll travel to conventions and serves as a guest artist both domestically and internationally.

WHEN IS YOUR NEXT OPENING, AND HOW CAN I GET A BOOKING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE?

I limit my schedule to a maximum of 3 months in advance. To stay in tune with my availability, follow me on Instagram and sign up for his mailing list. For those eager to secure a booking, keep an eye on my Instagram Stories for cancellations. Please bear in mind that cancelled appointments are typically filled with unique, one-of-a-kind designs or for existing clients with ongoing projects. Unfortunately, new, large-scale projects cannot be accommodated due to the short notice of cancellations.

WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS/PIECES DO YOU TAKE ON?

When it comes to selecting projects, my priority is to choose ones where I can bring my passion and give my best efforts. With my 10 years of experience in tattooing, I have learned that being personally invested in a project is crucial for me to create truly passionate tattoos. Crafting exceptional tattoo designs takes time, and I often encounter clients who have ideas but lack an artistic understanding of how tattoos can meet high design standards. As a result, I am selective in the projects I accept, choosing those that I believe can be translated effectively as tattoos and where I have complete artistic control. My main focus lies on my own "want to do" designs and freehand pieces. These creations have been honed through my experience in creating a large body of work that flows well and looks cohesive on the human form. However, when clients come to me with their own ideas, I prefer to work with a theme and let the creative process shape the final image. I am particularly drawn to projects that incorporate stunning photographic references or require the application of my portraiture skills, be it for family portraits or designs inspired by pop culture. It is important to note that I specialize in three specific styles of work: color realism, black and grey realism, and my unique style of freehand work. If you are looking for a different style that I do not tattoo in, I am more than happy to recommend another artist who would be better suited to bring your vision to life.

HOW CAN I INCREASE MY CHANCES OF MY INQUIRY BEING SUCCESSFUL?

To pique my interest, share a captivating concept along with stunning photographic examples. My passion lies in exploring and expanding my creative skills, and this can only be achieved if I am granted the liberty to execute the artwork in my own style

ARE THERE ANY PROJECTS THAT YOU TEND TO AVOID?

I tend to avoid tattooing pocket watches, compasses, and maps as they have become cliche, and I don't derive as much pleasure from them as from other designs. Additionally, I only create imagery and do not venture into text.

WHY HAVEN’T I RECEIVED A RESPONSE?

In order to ensure that every request is handled efficiently, we strive to keep everything organized in chronological order. Often, we engage in back-and-forth communications with clients to determine their specific preferences. To streamline the process, please provide as much clarity as possible when completing the booking form. The clearer your vision and the more open you are to our artistic license, the faster we can finalize your initial inquiry and secure a booking. I am truly grateful to those who choose our studio for their new tattoos. However, please understand that due to the size and vibrancy of our studio, the production of art, ongoing client communications, and personal commitments, it may take up to two weeks for us to read through all inquiries. If you do not receive a response within this time period, kindly send a follow-up request. Additionally, please check your junk folder, as responses may sometimes end up there due to our use of a separate email system. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

WILL YOU FIX UP ANOTHER ARTISTS TATTOO, FINISH ANOTHER ARTISTS TATTOO OR DO COVER UPS?

No, No and Yes, I am willing to perform cover-ups on old tattoos only if they are small or faded enough to be covered by the new tattoo. If the existing tattoo is too prominent, we can discuss alternative options.
